About

Growing up as a Native Memphian, I can recall building several things as a youth, from furniture to structures. This led me to enroll at the University of Memphis to study architecture. After receiving an Architectural Degree from the U of M, I enrolled in graduate studies at Virginia Tech, where I began to refine my furniture building skills as well as obtaining a Masters Degree in Architecture. After graduation I returned to Memphis and began working for Looney Ricks Kiss Architects, where I stayed for 14 years.

At LRK I was involved in many different project types but my passion for furniture design continued to flourish throughout various projects, both personal and professional.  I believe that my passion can be seen in each piece that I design, whether it’s a home or a furniture piece.  Each has its own soul and spirit that engages the senses through the experience of the piece or space.
